Connect the House System and your problems are solved! The House System connects to any Motorola Minitor II, III, IV, or V Amplified Charger with the 5 pin DIN accessory connector on the back (See the picture below). These house systems can also be connected to other alerting systems, please contact me if you have another alerting system. |
When you Persoanl House System is in standby mode:
- The counters are displayed on line one
- Your message is dispalyed on line two (this message can be anything you'd like up to 255 characters)
When your pager goes off, the following things occcur:
- A 120VAC plug turns on (for a light) for any duration you'd like (field programmalble)
- A Peizo buzzer sounds for 3 seconds (or whatever time you'd like)
- The Daily counter is increased by one
- The Total counter is increased by one
- The LCD changes to reflect the alarm has been received, updates the counters, & shows you how long is left before automatic reset
The House System is housed in a black box about the size of the Amplified Charger. The House System is tested prior to shipping and is guaranteed to work (I use each house system at work for a 24hr shift prior to listing it on eBay to ensure it works as described). Other similar products are available on eBay but are more expensive & do not have the features of the House System.

The second is siren that you hear is the in house system at the ambulance company.

- The Personal House System basic turns a light on for a predetermined amount of time, no adjustment is possible by the end user.
- The Personal House System PLUS turns a light on and sounds an alarm for a predetermined amount of time, no adjustment is possible by the end user.
- The Personal House System with light delay includes a momentary switch that allows manual activation of the light only.
- The Personal House System with light delay and light time control includes a momentary switch that allows manual activation of the light and the ability to adjust the amount of time the light remains on.
- The Personal House System HD (Heavy Duty) is an upgrade from the basic system that allows a large number of lights to be activated.
- The Personal House System HD PLUS is an upgrade from the basic HD system that allows a large number of lights to be activated and sounds an alarm for a predetermined amount of time, no adjustment is possible by the end user.

- What is the rating of the receptacle?
- 3 Amps, about (5) five 60watt light bulbs
- Does the House System affect the operation of my pager or amplified charger?
- No, your pager & amplified charger will work the same with or without the House System.
- What do I have to do to install the House System?
- Connect the 5 Pin DIN connector to your amplified charger, plug in the House System and plug a lamp into the House System and turn everything on.

- Is the 3 watt outlet upgradable? Say to have it turn on a battery charger to power a full (old school) lightbar, or other ideas? Thanks Mike (it's for a real whacker, not me) But he's a lot like me..ha ha

- im assuming i could get a 10" potter fire bell thats 120v .5amp and wire a plug to the end of the wire and plug it into the back of your box as long as i stay under the 3amps. also plug in a rotating 120v red light not sure on v or amps looking into it.
- Sure, that would work just fine. Please keep in mind that the fire bell and the rotating light will BOTH be on for the same amount of time, around 1 minute. If memory serves, a Potter Fire Bell is pretty loud and you may not be able to hear the dispatch. If you would like, I could build one that has two 120 VAC receptacles that stay on for different times so that your bell doesn't ring as long
- if ive already got something plugged into the acc. port on my amp. charger. like the station bell. then what can i do to get both plugged in? and is it powerfull enough to illuminate fluoresent ceiling lights?
- To get both plugged in, I could add a component to this house system that you could plug the bell into which would activate when the House System activates. I don't have the components so I would have to order them. You may find that the Peizo buzzer is loud enough to replace a single station bell. As far as the fluorescent lights, as long as they draw less than three amps, it will work. Two or three fluorescent lights would be fine, an entire engine bay would probably be a problem. I can build a system capable of lighting an engine bay if needed.
